As Canada’s largest province, Quebec is known for offering miles upon miles of incredible skiable terrain. But, knowing where to travel on your ski trip to Quebec isn’t easy.
So, we’ve done the hard work for you. With more than 70 ski resorts to choose from, these are the destinations you need to visit on your ski and snowboard trip to Quebec.
Experience the glamour of a French-inspired ski resort at Mont Tremblant. In addition to boasting stunning views and an incredible atmosphere, the area also boasts a traffic-free village filled with charming accommodations, shopping, dining, and more. Highly regarded as one of the top ski resorts in North America, Mont Tremblant features almost 800 acres of skiable terrain including tree runs, terrain parks, and more.
This historic ski resort, just a short drive from Quebec City, offers 70 ski trails across three different mountains. The expansive acreage at Mont-Sainte-Anne allows for terrain suitable to all abilities along with dozens of lighted trails for night skiing. Its northern-facing slopes also ensure the trails and powder stay in good condition into spring.
Le Massif is world-renowned for its spectacular views of the St. Lawrence River and for having the highest vertical drop east of the Canadian Rockies. Steep runs and challenging terrain leave little room for beginners at this ski hotspot, but a few trails from the summit to the base are available for novice skiers.
Known for its glade skiing and natural powder, this tree-covered ski resort is in a class of its own. Because of the shade provided by the trees and Mont Sutton’s micro-climate, the area is known for powder that falls heavily and more frequently than other Canadian ski resorts. Mont Sutton also boasts delectable French cuisine, upscale accommodations, and more.
While Ski Bromont has plenty to offer on the slopes, the area is most famous for its illuminated trails. Of the 142 ski trails, more than 100 are lined by massive lights for night skiing available until the early morning hours. The ski area is spread across three different mountains allowing for a wide variety of terrain for all abilities, too.
